These events having caught the attention of the gods in Asgard, Merida's tragic fate and noble cause to return to the highlands risks dividing the divinities amongst themselves, posing a threat to the peace both on Midgard and Asgard. All the while, Malcolm MacGuffin fights back courageously to reclaim their homeland and find the whereabouts of his beloved princess. Now stranded away from home with her rescuers, will Merida be able to overcome her loses? Can she open up to love and friendship again? Hiccup has been going to the same school in the same town with the same people his whole life. So when his girlfriend (Astrid) breaks up with him his whole world turns upside down. Hiccup was already considered a freak because he liked old rock bands,tattoos and anything Punk. So when he is dumped by the most popular girl in school it only gets worse....that was until Merida came to town. Merida was a strong tall 16 year old girl that just transferred from Scotland. So when she gets to a high school where she is treated like crap for the way she dressed and the way her hair looked she has some trouble I adjusting. Everything has been going great ever since the guardians defeated Pitch and Gothel. It's as if they have achieved their own little fairytale ending. But of course good things don't last forever. Princess Merida -her family famous throughout the lands for a mistaken spell- travels across the sea to the strange Island of Berk. During the visit Merida encounters an old childhood friend, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. When Merida is faced with nightmares of the past, and a strange fear of dragons she didn't know she possessed Hiccup decided that he is going to have to show her, things on Berk aren't as bad as they may seem. This short story explores the consequences of Brave on the Princess of Dunbroch.
