The idea and first parts of the story goes to Phantom Ice on fanfiction.net , this is an idea and story they are letting me develop that they started. Danny is found by his parents, injured after a fight. They decide he needs to learn how to defend himself thinking he got hurt by some bully or gang and sends him to learn martial arts like his mother did. He thinks about how this formal, structured way of fighting is drastically different from his fight-for-your-life fighting style. He then continues on to think about how different his and Vlad's fighting styles are. Meanwhile his parents have gotten more receptive and ordered a counseling session, were will this go?
