(C O M P L E T E D S T O R Y) Control... It was something that slipped through Kris' hands after the adventure in Darkworld. The Player was becoming more dominant, more determined. It was itching every bit of his being. He felt as if he was a toy, and his soul ached with every attempt of The Player to gain control. Due to this, he was forced to do something more, other than ignoring it. The pain was too much to handle. It was time to take desperate measures; ripping out his soul with aid of a knife. Feeling soulless and empty after it's removal. Susie, Kris' new friend, had been wondering of his constant emotionless state. But out of character for her, she helped him through it without prying. But the more Kris refuses The Player's plans, the more The Player gets stronger. Follow these two on their fight against the puppet master. •••••••••• (Story participated in the Wattys 2019) I said I'd do it, didn't I? I just feel determined right now. Help this determined soul. If there is any wrong info, please inform, I'd gladly correct it. I ship them. Kill me if you dare. Art by @ghostasaurusmeh on Twitter. I can take it down if you don't want it here, just dm me. Also, Deltarune is not mine, it belongs to Toby Fox, but you people are already aware of that. Disclaimer: Kris will be male, and The Player will be gender neutral, Understood? Enjoy. "I'm telling you! She died in a fire 7 years ago!" I boomed and raised my hands up in the air. He was sitting calmly, in his chair and leaned over onto his elbows in a discreet manner. "Well, According to what we have just witnessed today, that is most certainly untrue." He growled lowly, "She is a threat to the MMO, and everyone in it." I stayed silent, I couldn't believe that she was actually alive, all this time, I could have completed that lousy task and been done with this ordeal. "Well, what do you want me to do about it, Asgore?!" "Find her, and kill her." He said harshly. "You're one of the best fighters in the Mafia, Sans. Don't disappoint me this time." "Yes sir." "Actually.." he stood up, a smirk on his face. "I have a better idea."

Join me as I step once more into this beloved world, full of charming and memorable characters, to share a few stories that desired... No, demanded to be told. Here presents a collection of stories focusing on several characters from across the Layton universe. From Descole, to Hershel himself, of course, herein lies stories highlighting the puzzling, yet extraordinarily wonderful characters this game series has given us. No two stories are alike, and each one of them shall bring new life to these characters we cherish so dearly. Each character has something that means a great deal to them, for we infuse aspects and memories into simple objects and in that new life and meaning is born. Should we lose sight of that, it can change who we are. Yet all we need is a little reminder of our humanity. Of love and the bonds that hold us together. Keep us strong. So dive into a few tales from some characters you know and love deeply, and maybe some who will have a new light shone onto them. I guarantee a little something for everyone.
