This story takes place after season 6 of The Vampire Diaries! Caroline is going through a rough time because Tyler left and Elena is gone too, and not to forget Sheriff Forbes. Caroline wants to go to Stefan and Damon, well Stefan. But Elena's situation kills him more than he cares to admit. No one is at the level where they want to do anything, no one but Bonnie at least, and someone knows this. Someone knows, Caroline is hurting.... but who?

"Caroline, you have to stop this..." Klaus said as he put his hand to Caroline's face. "Why? To feel pain again? To be sad all the time?" Caroline said with anger and sadness in her voice. "I won't Klaus, I won't!" Caroline said pushing Klaus away from her. "And if I have too, I will kill you."
