Both Raynie and Josh are kind-of-popular students that suffers from loneliness. Josh suffers more as he became blind after an accident. Few weeks later, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Josh became strong each day, with Raynie always supporting him. He didn't tell Raynie about him dying in a few months time, because they became closer each day.
