My mom always tell stories at bed time when I was still a child.
All the stories I remember involves a prince and a princess or a king and a queen, and the likes.
When I grew up, I found out that a fairytale doesn't only come with a prince and a princess.
It could also be a prince who truly loves another prince.
However, I was wrong when I thought that it's as easy as that.
This world doesn't welcome that much my kind of fairytale.
Even if they try to separate us, there's one thing that will never change: I'm his prince and he is my prince.
Even if all the memories fade, our hearts will still beat for each other.
------PRINCE for a PRINCE------
From an eight-year old boy: "Why can't you hold his hand?" ("Bakit hindi mo mahawakan ang kamay niya?")
I kneeled and say, "I can't. We are afraid of what others will say." ("Natatakot kami sa sasabihin ng iba.")
He replied: "For me, I will think for a wish, a wish that someday you can freely hold each other's hands without being afraid." (Para sakin, iisip ako ng kahilingan, hiling na sana balang araw kaya niyong hawakan ang kamay ng isa't-isa na hindi natatakot.")
I hugged him and answered, "I wish for that, too. It's just hard, not for the reason that I can't hold his hands, but because others think it's wrong." ("Hinihiling ko din 'yan. Mahirap lang talaga, hindi dahil hindi ko kayang hawakan ang mga kamay niya, pero dahil iniisip nila na mali.")
He hugged me back, "I don't think it's wrong. You're both cute. I think you, two, are better than them." ("Hindi ko iniisip na mali. Pareho kayong cute. Para sa'kin, kayong dalawa ay mas higit pa sa kanila.")
