"So let me get this straight. You want me, as in me Megan Brooklyn Violet Andrews to help you, Grasshole, to get together with my BEST FRIEND Ali?" I started and looked over to Alex who had a smug grin on his face. "Yeah, exactly! Just with less obnoxiousness!" Alex grinned. "Are we talking about the same Ali here or...?" I was confused. Then he nodded, and from that moment I just could not take it any longer. I burst out laughing, and Alex shot me a puzzled look. Alex had guts. He was an idiot, but he had guts, I'll give him that. "Alex Daniels, that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say, and I've heard a lot of things escape that pie-hole of yours!" I couldn't contain my laughter. "What? It's not that abnormal!" He shrieked, and I raised my eyebrows at his nonchalant response. "Alex, you are a player, and obnoxious idiot and all-round grasshole. Why would I help you break my best friend's heart? That's going against at least three un-written friendship laws!" I pointed out, and he rolled his eyes. The audacity of this boy! "I can help you get Levi." --------------------- Megan is confused. Not sexually confused you perverts. It's just; she tries to be a good person but the gods are clearly not on her side. Ever. There are just too many things wrong with her life, she thinks. She's the target of Harlesbury High's resident bad boy, Alex freaking Daniels (her chosen nickname), and his devious pranks, for one. Literally she thinks her life could not get any worse. Oh wait, her ex-best friend is in a thriving relationship with the guy she has a crush on. It definitely can. But then everything changes for the worst, or so she thinks. Alex is conceited, smug and so full of himself that Megan wants to run him over with her car. Not that she would waste her gas on that idiot. But when Alex gives her the chance to grab back her dreams, who could possibly say no?
