Set two weeks after his capture, Vincent Stronghold barely has any chance left of escaping the clutches of his captors: the rebels, who terrorized the Palace, and their leader, Prince Jason Graystone. Meanwhile at the Palace, the Queen--with the help of Prince Octavian and their close ties--continues the search for her missing grandson, and repeatedly ends up in a maze of clues that doesn't help locating the lost Prince. With Octavian by her side, he will stop at nothing to get his Prince back. With perseverance and love influencing his efforts to find Vincent, he will soon come across a foe he never saw coming. And it may become a life and death situation for Vincent if Octavian and the royals of Allyria don't play their cards right.

There's nothing extraordinary about Vincent Stronghold. Bullied by pesky jocks, living in poverty with his single mom, and working at Best Buy at Walmart. With a loving mother and a great loyal best friend, he couldn't ask for more; he never wanted anything more. But when a group of men in uniform comes to his school to claim him as the next rightful heir to the kingdom of Allyria, a country too rich for its own good, Vincent's life is twisted and molded into something else entirely. When Vincent is escorted to the kingdom, he doesn't know what to expect. Palaces, expensive clothing, dashing looking Princes; everything is what Vincent could never dream of. He begins to question if he really is royalty material, and when he has a whole country criticizing his every move, pesky jocks, and an unsatisfied ex-boyfriend creeping behind his back, what do you get? Utter chaos. Will he be able to live up to his title, or will certain forces cause him to crumble and go back to living in the poverty he dared to leave?

Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres.
