The world at this point is dead, humans have killed it beyond repair. Most have left to live in the suns aureole hiding from the truth. Those with less fortune were left behind to try and fix what was broken and in ruin. Mara, like many, lives on a small farm only growing enough to survive. with her heart defects life is becoming increasingly hard but when there is evidence that her long lost childhood love could be alive still she sets out to find him but will she find him before her time runs out.
