Kai despises his ex, Levana, and to help his father keep his position in the school, he and his friends join the school musical. To his dismay, Levana is going for the lead female role, and he might get the lead male role. Then, after he meets a shy brunette and her friends, things start to change. Will Cinder be the heroine and save the play? Or will Levana poison the performance and destroy all of the happy endings?

This story takes place right after the short story Something Old, Something New by Marissa Meyer. Kai has just proposed to Cinder. This narrative is a continuation of their story together and what their future will hold. Fans of the Lunar Chronicles series won't want to miss this novel about love, trust, and the power of friendship. I do not own any of the main characters all credits there to Marissa Meyer. A modern AU where the characters attend boarding school. Cinder, Cress and Iko arrive at boarding school for another year, but instead of arriving to Cinders cousin Winter, Cress finds that this year she'll be sharing a room with the new girl Scarlet. Between school, friends, crushes and a mysterious street fighter the girls must find out what's happened to Winter. Meanwhile Cress tries to uncover the secrets between charming Carswell Thorne and Cinder, while being mercilessly drawn to him, Scarlet needs to know why her grandmother sent her away, Cinder navigates the web of the school social system when approached by one of the most popular boys in school and Iko tries to discover who she really is. --- I've had to change some of the characters ages for the sake of the story, and obviously Cinder isn't cyborg and Thorne and Scarlet also have all of their fingers. Iko is also human. Characters belong to the wonderful Marissa Mayer. I don't own the concept the boarding school, the English language or the earth either, just in case you thought I was that fabulous. Carswell Thorne however...

{completed } It has been 2 years since they took over Luna. Wolf and Scarlet are married, Kai and Cinder are still dating, Cress and Throne and engaged, Winter and Jacin are broken up. And most important of all Cinder can cry now! Some doctors made it so she can cry now. It starts out with Scarlet finding out one of the most exciting things in her life but also very scary. She and Wolf start on a crazy new adventure together, but not alone, they have everyone on their side. Cress and Thorne are close to the best thing in their life, marriage. Neither one of them doubts that they were made to be together for the rest of their lives. Cinder has taken her rightful place as queen, but she couldn't do it by herself so she wanted Kai by her side but she couldn't make him king unless they got married and neither of them wanted to get married so quickly just for that reason so they went with what is called half-king. Kai can't make the decisions but he has a big say in everything. Winter and Jaicn where doing good, till one mistake. A mistake that Winter might never get out of her head and heart, but she'll also never be able to get her love for Jaicn out of her heart or head. So what will happen? Read and find out. This was written before starts above came out so that's why Cress and Thorne are engaged not Cinder and Kai. Iko does not make any appearance in this story, as the writer I didn't know how to write the character.
