"I'm sorry about that", he said bending to gather her up in his arms as he pulled her up to her feet.
"What has come over you?" Jasmine cried.
"Jasmine, we really need to get out of here", Alex said snatching her hands in a tight grip and thrusting them away.
She puckered her lips and said to him, "You're hurting me."
Almost immediately, her hands had found their way back beneath the light cotton T-shirt that stretched soothingly against his hard, tanned form. She grazed his body, even yanking it further up as she spent time taking in every bit of the toned abs in a sultry glance.
"I don't want to do this anymore, Jasmine", Alex sighed.
He ran his hands through his hair and cursed.
This woman would be the death of him.
He couldn't deny that he wanted her, but his heart was already spoken for.
"If this is the only way out, then there's not really much I can do. You'd better go ahead and do your worst."
"No, I'll do my best. I will tell Vanilla what you really are, you idiot. Let's see how much longer she'll stick around", Jasmine retorted shaking with anger.
"Go on, at least I'd be free of you", he replied and bent to pick up his pants.
"Alex!"
He looked up to see a silencer and a gun in her hand aimed for his head. "I'd have to kill you. I swear I'll do it."
