Avery never expected to be a mermaid. Mermaids are a myth...or so she thought. After drinking her mother's project with jelly-like chemicals, whenever Avery touches water, she gets tail in return. Things go bad to worse as the new girl on the street sees Avery's tail. Avery must survive with her new powers, and try to get past her sneaky sister, Sammy, and the new girl's-Katie's-brother, Jake.
