Peter Wright is a human in a world full of many types of creatures, from lizard people to dwarves. Peter has a legacy from his parents to keep up: His father's witch hunting reputation, and his mom's reputation as Yester's main doctor. Yester was a once rich town, turned poor by the nearby kingdom, Verge's king, King Xavier IV. A small rebellion begins to form in Verge, but the king quickly puts a stop to it. When Peter gets word of this though, he must come up with a plan to dethrone the king, while also caring for his family.
