•Irene's POV• I am Irene (duh), age fourteen, and I will be describing this little book to you. I live... Oh, heck, I'm not telling you where I live. But I go to school with Julie and Heidi. We are the outcasts, the nerds, and the weirdos. I happen to be hilarious, Julie could be a genius the way she writes and talks, and Heidi has big dreams, I think. To be honest, I don't know Heidi that well. I only know her because she knows Julie, and I don't know how. I've just never asked. Anyway, Julie and I go way back, and we all have one thing in common: Minecraft. Heidi's on it almost nonstop, Julie hardly ever goes on it, and I think of it as a casual pastime. But, as things happen and people change, I keep wondering how we stick together. We're hardly even alike. Julie's a year older than me, Heidi's a year younger than me, and Julie and I go to school at Crystalwood High. What are we going to do?

It's about Irene, who is transported by a mysterious temple to a place far away from her friends, the Boot Girls. Julie and Heidi must embark on a perilous reconnisance mission to bring Irene back to safety, meeting exciting new people along the way.
