This is a poem I wrote as a teen. Actually it’s a refrain from one of the songs I wrote. I just wanted to get it out of my head. It's been trapped in here for close to 15 years.

A poem for my children

Ten of their planet's cycles ago, the gluttonous Daulpers stumbled across a portal to their sister planet, Veraunauth - home of the Celestial race, the Moogalytes. Last cycle, the Daulpers were on the brink of overrunning Veraunauth. The Moogalyte's High Elders thought they found an answer. They believed, the Creator called them to cleanse Earth to ensure their races survival. Two middle school students, Billy and Sarah discover a mysterious artifact that leads them on an epic journey. The Moogalytes believe the two humans were brought to them by the Creator, to help destroy the portal and save their home world. Or is that really, what they are supposed to do? Billy and Sarah must find each other, discover themselves and learn their path.
