In a perfect world, the two of you would have never met. You would have both lived happily in the loving homes of your biological parents, and grown up happy and healthy with beautiful, fulfilling lives. But this wasn't a perfect world, and you grew up orphans just fighting for a chance at a normal life. You got that chance...he wasn't so lucky. This is a Vanitas centered story based on my dabbled "Messed Up." It will be told through a non-linear timeline, so there are going to be a lot of flashback chapters, a lot of time skips, and rather than tell the story from their childhood, to their teen years, to adolescence, the story is going to start with them as 20 and 21 year olds in college, and tell the stories of their growing up through flashback chapters. This isn't like my other stories, this one already has an ending I'm working towards. That's not to say it wont be long or enjoyable, just that there is an end in sight unlike my other stuff. It will also be a little racy, a little more mature, than my other stuff. There will be physical abuse, drug abuse, alcoholism, mental health issues, sexual themes, and of course strong language. It's going to be darker and grittier than my other works, and much more realistic. This is not a fairytail love story. These are not happy, healthy characters. Their relationships are pretty unhealthy, and I don't condone a lot of what will happen, and you probably shouldn't either. That being said, hopefully it will feel more real. Hopefully you'll like the change. I'm enjoying writing it, at least.
