Death sentences are big events in the city of Restless Isle, because that's when the zipper opens. The zipper in the sidewalk on the north side of town is the place that nobody wants to find themselves on a bad day, because once it opens, you're falling down the pit into nothingness. Nobody knows where it goes, and nobody except the crazy criminals plan on finding out.
