"It's okay." Elena says. "No. I kissed you without asking. I shouldn't have done that." Sam says. "No. You shouldn't have. But I also realized something." Elena says. Sam immediately responds, pushing her against the wall. They strip each other of their clothing and make their way to the bedroom, falling back onto the bed. Throughout the night, they continue to make passionate love, letting go of all they had been holding back. She had gotten a call from a hospital, saying that Dean, Sam and their Dad had gotten into a car accident, a 18 wheeler ramming into them. She had made it there, but just to find Sam there but Dean in a coma. The Yellow Eyed Demon had managed to track them down and kill their father. All Elena wanted to do was leave them on their own and live her life. It wasn't her fault that she was born under a bad name. But she sucks it up and ends up road tripping with the brothers anyway. She finds out that there is way more people like Sam out there that are all been mysteriously taken. And so is he. As time dwindles down, it's up to Dean, Elena and Bobby to bring him home. Dean watches as Elena's face goes blank. "It's Sam." She says. "He's in trouble." "You've said that before." Dean says and rolls his eyes. "There's a fire." She said and that got Dean's attention. "What?" "Oh my god." She gasps. "Drive! Go!" She didn't have to tell him twice. Dean sped down the road, back towards Stanford. » Elena Gilbert had no idea who she was. Dean chokes on his drink when he sees her and Bela watches him warily. Sam looks at his girlfriend and wears the biggest smile. "Kind of dramatic for the occasion, don't you think?" Bela asks. Elena walks up to the gang. "Sorry I'm late. I couldn't find anything to wear so I found this at an old boutique." She says. "You look...beautiful." Sam says. Elena does a curtsy. "Thank you. Would you like to dance?" She asks Sam. "I would love to." Sam offers his arm and she takes it. Dean finishes his drink. "I'm gonna need a couple more of these." He says as he grabs another champagne. "Careful." Bela says. "You can't be drunk in the job." "Who cares?" Dean says as he downs another drink. He watches Sam and Elena dance, squinting. Bela smiles as she watches him. "You know, you're not very good at keeping a poker face." She says to Dean. "What are you talking about?" Dean asks. "That you like her." Bela motions to Elena who is happily dancing with a smiling Sam. "What?" Dean shakes his head and let's out a "pfft' noise. "No." Bella's eyes grow wide. "Oh my god. You're in love with her." She says. "No I'm not." Dean says. "You're a terrible liar." Bela says. "I don't understand why you haven't said anything yet." "Because she's with my brother." "It's like you said," Bela says. "Who cares?" » With only one year left to live, Dean decides to make the most of it. He drowns himself in women and booze, what he desires the most. All Sam wants to do is spend some more time with his brother before time runs out. But someone is around, looking for Sam. Her name is Lilith, and she's angry. Angry that Sam is getting all the praise. Can the gang get rid of her before the clock ticks? Elena hits her head in the roof and is unable to move. She coughs as glass bits crumble to the ground. "Ahh!" She screams in pain. Running feet are heard coming by. "Hello!" Dean appears and scares her. She screams. "Elena, it's me." He says. "My seat belt...I think it's stuck. I can't-" She says. "Sh sh sh." Dean says and crouches to her level. "I'm gonna unbuckle your seat belt, but first I need you to put your hands on the roof." Elena does what he says. "Is this okay..." She cries. "It's perfect." Dean says. "On the count of three, I'm gonna unbuckle you, okay?" "Okay." "One...two...three!" Dean yells and Elena falls in the roof. He pulls her out of the truck and puts her in her feet. She can't seem to stand. "You're okay." Dean says, relieved. Elena opens her tear-filled eyes. "He slept with her." She says and turns unconscious. Dean looks around to make sure that no one thought he was kidnapping her. Dean picks her up bridal style and puts her in his Impala. » After Dean is mysteriously brought back from Hell, Sam and Elena are left in confusion. But what Dean comes back to is anything but happy. Sam is working in secret with Ruby, the demon. Elena has no idea what Sam can really do because he is almost never around. Ruby, in a new body, is helping Sam exorcise demons using his demon side. Dean finds out that he hasn't been talking to Elena and they get into a big fight. While Sam is making new friends with Ruby, something is going on with Elena and she had no one to turn to but Dean. "I like you, Dean. I get what the other angels see in you. Goodbye. We'll meet again soon." Lucifer turns to walk away. Someone appears next to Lucifer and latches onto him. It's Elena. Dean is surprised to see her. "You better kill me now!" Dean says. Lucifer turns back. "Pardon?" He asks. "You better kill me now. Or I swear, I will find a way to kill you. And I won't stop." Dean says. "I know you won't. I know you won't say yes to Michael, either. And I know you won't kill Sam. Whatever you do, you will always end up here." Lucifer says. "Whatever choices you make, whatever details you alter, we will always end up-here. I win. So, I win." He wraps his arm around Elena's waist. "You're wrong." Dean says. "See you in five years, Dean." Thunder and lightning; Lucifer is gone, but Elena is still there. She's wearing a long pretty white dress and her hair is straight and not curly. She smiles at Dean. "Lena?" Dean asks. Elena steps close to Dean and caresses his face. "Dean, I've missed you." She leans in close and kisses him passionately. Dean pulls back and looks at her. "You're not Elena." He says. Katherine smiles sinisterly. "This is how it's always going to end. I'll always choose him. And you can do nothing to stop it." » Ever since the beginning of the Apocalypse, it's been madness. They've been sucked into TV Land, Sam is being harassed by Lucifer, and Castiel is their new friend. Sam and Elena try to keep their distance from each other because of their destinies. "What? Are you gonna tell me that Sam is alive?" She asks. "Yes." Dean sighs. "Sam is alive." "He's back?" Elena says. "I don't want to see him." Dean looks taken back. "What do you mean you don't want to see him?" He asks. "Do you know how long it took for me to get over him?" Elena asks. "I had to see a therapist, Dean. A therapist." "You don't think I was shocked when I found out?" Dean asks. "I'm just as shocked as you are." Elena straightens up. "How long has he been back?" She asks. "A year?" "A year?" Elena repeats. "And he never came back to get me. Wow." She says lamely. "He thought he was protecting you." Dean says. Elena looks angry. "He could've picked up the phone and called me!" She yells. "Don't shoot the messenger, I found out not too long ago." Dean says. "That's why I need you to come with me so you can both-" "I'm not going." Elena says. "What do you mean you're not going?" Dean asks. "Yes you are." "I spent literally half of my time here trying to get over him dying." Elena says. "I can't look him in the eye." "So you're not coming." "I'm sorry Dean." Elena says. "But it was really good to see you." » It's been a year since Sam risked his life and fell into the pit with Lucifer. All Elena wanted to do was give up. Dean had moved in with Lisa and seemed to be happy. Left with no other option, Elena decides to track him down. Just when things were finally getting right, Sam is back, but he's different. He's ruthless and appears to have no feelings for Elena anymore. Well that's because he has no soul. Literally. The only way to save him is to build a wall in his mind and restore his memories.
