Hayden is missing Adele. She never got a chance to say good-bye, much less I love you. But that's the part that's confusing- she doesn't know if that's what she really wants, needs to say. A Hayden x Adele one-shot because the ship has no fanfics and I really like it. (by the way, does anyone know the ship name?) An infection turning everyone sixteen and older into a flesh eating monster has broke out. Kids wander the streets trying to survive the first couple of days, but get picked off by the grownups eating them alive. A gang of friends are determined to survive the disease, and fight off whatever comes their ways.

Duke has spent nearly 100 years in the house where he died, scaring away every owner to protect his home. But when a new family shows up with a young girl that intrigues Duke, he allows them to move in. As Duke observes the Gundersons, he notices that they are struggling with something they refuse to talk about. Seeing Violet in pain is more than he can bear, and he wishes to help. But how can a ghost boy do that, especially when he has secrets of his own?
