I was falling. Wind rushed through my long, blond hair and my arms frantically windmilled. I looked into the darkness, searching for something to grab. The sinking feeling in my stomach continued for what seemed like eternity, until I spotted a speck of light growing larger every second. I screamed, though I knew what was going to happen next. I hit the ground with a loud thump, and as every other night, I heard a deep voice say mysteriously, “Welcome to Wonderland.”

i know who i am. and i know who i do not want to be. i am easy in my own skin even while i struggle. i am anything but perfect, but that is okay. and i love the ocean. many of these have something to do with that. i also love people who live there. the rest of these have something to do with them. some have nothing to do with either.
