[I apologize for how immature this book reads. I wrote this when I was like 14 and haven't fixed it since. Warning: cliche plots and unnecessary cursing ahead] Bethany Ford isn't your average, everyday teenager. At fifteen, she's already mastered more than 12 fighting styles, mastered the art of street-conning, and is already about to live on her own. She can defeat and overcome anything. Well... almost anything. Just when Bethany hits the streets in order to get away from her abusive family, she drops into Gotham City. Literally. With the Motherbox, Bethany is able to travel to a whole new dimension; one that includes the Justice League and their sideki- I mean, apprentices. If holding one of the most powerful objects in the universe isn't hard to believe, meeting the Team is a whole different story. From Kid Flash's constant flirting to Superboy's continuous brooding, the Team fits together like a well-oiled machine, no matter how different they all are. Enter: the alluring, charming, and amusing Boy Wonder. Robin is filled with mischief and adventure, which is everything to distract Bethany. But will she be willing to trust him enough with her secrets? How far will trust go before it breaks? From living in the Wayne Mansion, starting school at Gotham Academy, and joining the Team, everyone knows that trouble is never far from paradise. The big villains begin to take notice of the spirited and talented new heroine. When a threat from the Light is revealed, can she afford to put all her trust in these new magnetic strangers and accept the Team's help? Or will the Light succeed in ensnaring Bethany? Will she ever settle in with the Team, or will they move on without her? Without further ado... a daring, bold, and heart-leaping novel. Prepare to get OVERwhelmed. [COMPLETED]

Eli didn't think much about the city's newest so-called hero, but he supposed Vigilante wasn't all that bad. Granted, he was kind of a jerk and if he ever tried to kiss Eli again he was definitely getting punched. A story about a starving college student, making a living serving coffee and the local vigilante with a crush. - - - - - - - - - Highest rank #1 in Action, Wattys 2016 winner in the Trailblazers category! My life has changed ever since I was taken away. I was no longer a Satellite that was determined to keep the Satellites safe from the gangs. Instead, I was a prisoner. It was a sad life for me. I was very lonely, and I missed Yusei more than anything. After all, I did love him. But you know, life is full of troubles. I was put into a pure white room and they chained my ankles and wrists. The chains were attached to the middle of the floor. I could still walk around, but I couldn't go anywhere near the door or the one window. I guess you could say my heart darkened. I was so dark that I felt nothing like sadness, joy, sorrow, or any of that. Instead, all I felt was hatred and anger burning within me. I was slowly turning into a demon. When it's lights out, I sit there in the middle of the floor and stare out the window. One day, I would get out of there. And when that time came, the Governor was going to die. But how? Maybe, that time would come sooner. Yes. The Governor is not going to be celebrating my arrest for long. I will rise.

Nestled in the middle of a raging ocean are two islands: the Satellite and New Domino City. The City is bustling with lively citizens that live a comfortable, wealthy life. Opposite of it is the Satellite, a miserable, filthy place where criminals and other low-lives are exiled to. Police brutality was extremely common, and only a select handful of Satellites were allowed to work and earn money. Everyone else was treated as inhumane as possible. This is where the thief called Kaira Jenkins was raised, and it is all she ever knew. One day, Kaira went out in search of resources to steal only to find an officer on patrol. During her escape, she met a boy named Yusei Fudo, who promised a place for her to belong to. After learning of his gang's goal to restore peace to the Satellite, she becomes keen on joining. Can the group rise above the others and defy the Governor of New Domino City, or will they come face-to-face with the reality of the authorities' torture?
