Being raised by 5 brothers wasnt easy. I grew up to be a tomboy, playing sports, watching the games on TV, and hanging out with the guys. I was always on easy target for bullies, especially boys. They would make fun of my curveless body and the way I dressed, and also made rumors up about me. So when I was offered the chance to go to school in Paris for 2 years I jumped at the opprotunity to leave this place. 2 years later and here I am, all grown up. Im not that little girl that they all remember. It wasnt my plan to get revenge, but they all just made it way too easy. With the help of my bestfriend Im going to have the boys wanting to date me and the girls wanting to be me.

"Look Harmony! I'm on top of the world!" His voice bellowed throughout the hushed parking lot. "No, Louis. You're on top of a car." I sniggered at the look of defeat on his face. "Come on Harmony, just pretend." The way he leaned forward and whispered to me made me think of my brother Ben before he left our Neverland for his grown up life. Louis reached his hand out for me to take and I eagerly grasped it, allowing him to pull me up onto the hood beside him. After I had balanced myself, I looked over to Louis. He was staring up at the sky. Staring at the brilliantly lit stars, all of his attention going to those stars. I took this moment to look at him. His blue eyes were captivated by the stars, handsome chiseled features, thin lips slightly parted so that each breath would allow white puffs of steam to fill the air. Louis was honestly really handsome and no matter how long we would have stayed there, I don't think I could have looked away. Blue eyes flicked to mine, forgetting the stars, and studied my face. After some time, Louis huffed out a breathe and turned back to the sky. "Why are you so childish, Harmony?" He questioned me. The question surprised me. "Why are you so childish, Louis?" I countered. He chuckled and turned to me one last time. "Because there's no fun in being grown up." His blue eyes held a sense of honesty that may be beyond me. I gave him a sad smile. "To never grow up." I sighed out and started to get off the hood of the car, going the direction the others went. But before I was completely gone, I heard Louis shout out into the night sky. "To never grow up!"

Thirty-seven-year-old John Morgan's personal life is already in disarray when he receives a phone call that his brother and niece are dead. His relationship with his father is nearly nonexistent, he barely speaks to his sister, and he has no real friends to lean on. As the tragic news slowly begins to sink in, John realizes he is floating aimlessly in the middle of an unpredictable sea of emotions with no one to rescue him. In this compelling tale that movingly illustrates the devastating effects of a dysfunctional family, John must learn to change what he can, accept what he cannot, and make the difficult decision to leave some things behind. I'm excitedly working on a second novel. Thanks for checking out my work. PS: for those that wish to own my book it can be purchased in multiple formats and found on various major online distribution channels. Thank you!
