My eyes brimmed with tears. "I don't know if you remember but you told me these cheesy pickup lines..." I began, my voice cracking. The room became silent as a single tear dropped from my eyes. Once it did, his expression quickly changed from confusion to worry. I immediately recalled that pickup line he told me that day, the one I used to think was nothing but a bunch of baloney but now as a treasured memory. If it wasn't for me, he wouldn't be suffering this much. If it wasn't for my foolishness, then maybe, maybe, I wouldn't look so helpless in front of him right now. I inhaled sharply, trying to compose myself as I wipe the tears from my eyes. "Well, you're a liar. Falling in love with you isn't the best way. I would rather fall from the sky or tree than do that. There was a girl named Sakura Haruno who was the happiest girl in the village, her smile could brighten any day, every boy had an interest in her, including Sasuke Uchiha but he rarely showed emotion. He only opened up to Sakura and his best friend, Naruto Uzumaki. Although Sakura seemed like a cheerful girl on the outside, on the inside, she was a beast. She didn't trust anyone and her life was a mystery. She believed she had a perfect life despite the fact that her father shunned her but her mother had enough love for two parents. What she didn't know was that one day could change everything...

Sakura's POV I walked straight to the north side of the fountain. Tears flooded my emerald eyes, as it streamed down my face. Hopelessly wishing on the fountain, holding a penny. Sasuke's POV I was at the south part of the wishing fountain on our neighborhood park. I felt guilty, anger, pity and confusion. I should've been there for her. I messed up, a lot. This is the only thing left I could think about doing. ~~~ "I wish she would come back." Sasuke threw a penny, as a teardrop fell from his face, regretting what he had done. ... "I wish they would know the truth about her and that they would know what I'm feeling right now." Sakura threw her penny. She wiped her tears off of her hopeless face. The two walked away in different directions. Not knowing that the person they wanted to see was so close. ----- What could've happened? Why was their last hope was making a wish on a fountain? Why couldn't they just talk to each other? Find out the answers throughout the story. This is my first fan fiction and english is NOT my first language so, sorry if I have many grammatical errors. " Yes, that will be the only sacrifice to get your second chance," replied the voice. Sakura was determined to get a second chance. " Alright, I accept." "Your second chance is granted." Then, another blinding light came to Sakura. Her recent memories were erased. Her second chance has become a reality . Will she be truly be happen this time?
