Harton is a teenager in a future without snow. When he first sees a picture of snow falling, he is enthralled and decides that he will go to the last location remaining that still has snow: Mount Everest. He will climb the tallest mountain in the world in search of what we currently have at our fingertips each winter... snow.

In the near future, virtual reality games come into existence. Nadran is one of 25,000 people who play the first virtual reality game to come out, Age of Dragons Online. However, the players immediately realize that the game is more dangerous than they thought, as they are trapped in the game, and dying in the game means dying in reality. Nadran must take on all of the dangers of the game and beat the game in order to survive... and return to reality.

Dracon awakens in the middle of a forest in the year 2244 with no memories at all other than his name. As Dracon learns of the life and culture of 23rd century humans, though, a sinister evil strikes from the shadows, trying to kill him for reasons unknown. When their motives are revealed and Dracon's memories are returned, these revelations pull him and his friends inexoriably into a deadly war that will reverberate throughout the universe.
