Jack realizes that he gave Ianto some of his blood after a weevil attack and that Ianto should be immortal. After he finds Ianto they slowly begin to recreate Torchwood three with Gwen's help but Ianto has to deal with his death at the same time and he isn't finding it easy. After the tragic death of his soulmate, Ianto Jones, Jack expirences a severe medical condition called Rappelles Toi where he has to relive all of his significant memories with Ianto up until his soulmate's death. However, Jack can stop his torture if he forgives himself for what happened to Ianto. But as the dreams get more frequent and more intense, it gets harder and harder for Jack to learn how to forgive himself.
