There are no monsters and there are no tears and you are okay. Lies. His hair wasn't always green. It was blonde and then it was blue and then he couldn't afford to keep dying it blue, so it faded. Now it's green. His eyes are still blue, though. Not as blue as the sky and only a little bit bluer than ice. But still blue. And she's a good swimmer, but those eyes still drown her.
