There was an ancient ninja clan called Fairy Tail. They was known for being the best and helping who ever needed it. They would only show up in times when something huge would happen. One of the members of Fairy Tail was known through the land as Salamander. He possessed dragon like powers of fire. He was known for being a little careless but always one to protect the ones he cares for. In this land of ninjas and magic there was a Princess hoping to save her country.
Her name was Princess Lucy Heartfilla and her father had been put under a dark spell by the new royal mage Mard Geer. To save her father and the people Lucy leaves the castle before Mard Geer used her to marry the a dark wizard to become the next king. As Lucy runs away Mard Geer has people after her. Very powerful people at that.
As Lucy runs for her life, trying to find the ancient ninja clan she had heard stories about from her mother she runs into a man a year older than herself named Natsu Dragneel....

~First Book of The Illness Series~
Natsu Dragneel was in his last year in college about to take over his father's company, Dragon Inc. Everyone thought Natsu was a cold-hearted person, he was harsh to his friends and even random people he just meets. There was a reason Natsu was like this. That's because his childhood best friend and secret girlfriend Lucy Heartfilla were sick with an invisible and deadly illness. Lucy got sick at the age of 9 years old she had met Natsu when she was 5. Her and Natsu always had been close and he was the only one who could calm her before her illness got too bad.
What happens when Natsu's stalker finds out about Lucy?
What happens with Lucy's illness takes many turns?
What happens when Lucy can finally go outside once again?
Will Natsu let his friends finally meet and know about his girlfriend?
Lucy Heartfillia is more than what she seems.
P.S. There are typos in here so if you're going to be triggered by that then please do not read, because I'm not going to go back and fix everything. Also this is a fan fiction so not everything follows the cannon story.
"Even though I may be a Prince, I'm just like you. You learned fast to respect me as a person, and you didn't even care when I told you what I was, Luce, that's why I want you to stay."
