Another Modern AU. So your dear friend, Rosinante, decides to adopt a puppy. Except, when you get to his house, it's not a puppy you find waiting for you. You were used to the man making hasty and stupid decisions but this? Looks like it's time to teach the clumsy male how to look after a broken child now. Dedicated mostly to Cassie. XD So, again. (Y/n) hasn't had the best life ever. Her mother left her father because of his abusive tendencies leaving (Y/n) behind. (Y/n) has to work day and night to afford food, rent, and her fathers alcoholic needs. Which means no school for her. She has a job in the day time at a cafe and at night works at a shady bar. Where she gets beat even more. One day while working at her job at the Cafe a man handsome man walked in and took an interest in (Y/n). Will he be (Y/n) hero or leave her to live in her nightmare.

This story is essentially an addition to 'Binks Sake {Shanks x Reader}' So you and Mihawk become friends, that's always cool. Who wouldn't wanna be his friend? However, Shanks doesn't really like what he sees. But how will he handle his newfound jealousy?
