But visions from people like Lenori suggest that there may be one. No one knows about these visions except Olvan, Lenori, those with these visions and highly ranked Greencloaks. In these visions a weapon that would be able to stop wars is seen. The Greencloaks realise this is important, and know that the way to get it is extremely dangerous. Lenori has a vision of a group of marked (the roleplayers) who possess a major talent. These people and these people only would have the slightest chance of surviving the quest to retrieve this weapon. These people are gathered at Greenhaven for the bonding ceremony, and are prepared for the potential suicidal quest before them....

Conor left, heading off to Greencloak tower to play hero. Devin remains at the castle, trapped and frustrated that he failed at his nectar ceremony. Rache is tied between staying at the tower and finishing her dues or joining Conor at Greenhaven with her spirit animal Eko. A man comes offering a deal to both Rache and Devin. To restore the honor that Devin lost, and cure Rache of bonding sickness. Taking the cure changes the fate of both children and save them. But everything is not as it seems.
