A short story about a character investigated by three school kids.

... Emma felt the confidence start to seep away. Her earlier thoughts were not pleasant but she couldn't ignore them. 'What's going on?' the questioned burned through her mind. 'Where are we? How did we get here?' Charlie's smile vanished at once. 'What happened?' she asked him. 'We were in the boats and then...' There was that bright light. Then darkness... Something happened that Spring break, something none of them could understand. One moment they were at the lodge, finally starting to enjoy their school residential, then the next... ... they were somewhere else. Somewhere unknown. Somewhere dangerous. Now they have to fight for their lives and find a way to get back home, while at the same time, trying to comprehend how this happened and why. Because whether they like it or not, this journey will change them forever.
