Everything changed that day. It was just a coincidence that I was walking down that certain hallway after school, and what I heard changed my life. I was in fifth grade, and the door to the music room was left slightly ajar. As soon as I was within a foot of the door, the most beautiful sound I had ever heard echoed throughout the hallway. I couldn't find my breath, and my heart skipped a beat. The notes were so pretty, and everything about it had me enthralled. I sat next to the door until the keys stopped moving and the piano was a lifeless object once more. When the master of that beautiful melody came out, I was surprised to see another fifth grader from my class. Since that day, me and him, were best friends.
