After the fall of the never forgettable USA, In the futuristic country of Jergo, in the year 2411, 15 year old Violet and 10 year old Meghan are both Hierlevent. The hold a force within them that could be dangerous to man kind. Many others are like them, but they are afraid to come out or they will be killed. Two century's ago, acerbus organization leader Narven Tong's great, great grandfather created a system for the country and it's government to create a peaceful society, with no acts of thinking for yourself. Basically, his motive is to kill off all Hierlevents because they can revolt against the system and kill or destroy anything in their path. Violet and Meghan soon travel to the Amorus secret headquarters and find themselves in a plan to free Delin, Meghans mother and prevent Darcy(Hierlevent) from destroying the country of Jergo in an effort to make all Hierlevents rise and take over.
