Mark's close friend Joseph had just died and Mark didn't know what to do. He had never felt so empty and cold. It was like there was a black hole inside him, sucking away all the light in his life. Everyone avoided him, even the teachers kept their distance, claiming he practically radiated trouble. In this town, everything new was seen as something dangerous and threatening. Sean tried to stay away from the others. He didn't want to be here. He didn't want to stay.
