"I plunge into the ocean like a bullet from a gun, just hoping to God that he doesn't jump after me, he deserves better. Slowly, the salty water fills my lungs. The icy blue water is fading to black the further down I sink. I don't fight to get to the surface. This is what I want. In a few moments everything will be over...nobody, including Dan, will ever have to deal with me ever again...or even have to think about my screwed up self for that matter. As I start to slip unconscious I feel arms wrap around me pulling me upward towards the surface. No, please, this is what I want. Just let me drown...I try to scream but all that comes out are millions of little air bubbles and a muffled yell that is barely heard through the thick water. Dan doesn't let his tight grip go and still keeps pulling. Then everything goes black."
