My brother, Thomas and I still believe there's hope, that there is a world beyond those walls worth fighting for. He pretends he's given up that hope, but he hasn't. My grandma used to tell me stories about the old days, about the oceans and rivers and forests and deserts and mountains, about before giant, human-like monsters emerged from no where and started eating people, almost wiping out humanity. I will go beyond the walls one day. I believe there is still hope. The Avatar is out there somewhere. These 200 years will soon be nothing but a horrible memory.
