Sang Sorenson has been chewed up and spit out by life too many times. Abused by her stepmother. Neglected by her father. Hated by her sister. Bullied by jealous girls, Ignored by nearly everyone else in high school Sang never gave in. Even when, on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, her family abandoned her with naught but a backpack and a single suitcase containing all of her worldly possessions. Alone, bruised, and tired of living like this, she took her meager belongings and the few thousand dollars she'd saved all her life she started over, determined to make the best of her freedom. Three years, a job, months of therapy, and an apartment later she's finally whole for the first time in her life and then 14 wonderful men fall into her calm world, shaking things up once more, his time for the better. Sang, the blackbourne boys, the toma team and all related academy characters belong to the magnificent C.L. Stone. Everything else belongs to me.

What if the Academy was a real place, a place that trains extraordinary people to do extraordinary things. Only these people... are something more than mere mortals. A fanfiction of the Ghost Bird Series by C L Stone, with a touch of Mythos Academy and Percy Jackson thrown in for good measure. When Sang is abandoned in the middle of nowhere by a father who wants to move on, she finds herself inside the Academy, a place where the students have abilities and powers she can't comprehend and the walls themselves seem to hum with history and magic. These students are the descendants of gods, myths and legends come to life. The school exists to keep them safe from the rest of the world and, in some cases, to keep the world safe from them. Then, of course, there's that one group of boys who keep to themselves, but that Sang can't help but feel drawn to. She's been warned that they're dangerous but she can't help but feel like there might be more to the story than meets the eye. Sang's arrival is about to shake the Academy to its foundations. An ancient, unspeakable evil is rising and the only one who can stop it is gone forever... or so the legends say. Cover Credit: @rosebud024 Previous Cover: @Tapiona

"So, you're like Scooby Doo on steroids, and instead of going on light hearted adventures, you go to creepy buildings and meet depressing crazy people? Then, who's Daphne?' ~~~ It's hard being a medium- and Sang Sorenson would know. Her childhood was full of creepy ghosts and abusive parents, along with a long dead grandma coming along for the ride. Once Sang turned 18, she fled her abusive household, moving across the country to the Pacific Northwest (with her dead Nana in tow), setting her sights on becoming a journalist. Now, she's 23, a recent graduate from college, living in Midnight, Washington, and she couldn't be happier... Until her house gets possessed by an evil entity. Once realizing she's way over her head, her best friend (and witch) Fiji puts her in touch with the Blackbourne Institute of the Paranormal, or BIP for short. What Sang is hoping for is a group of badass ghost hunters who will hopefully rid her house of all the evil ghosties (and hopefully leaving her Nana intact). What Sang gets instead is a group of nine, gorgeous and mysterious men and... love? This will be a mix of the Academy with the Black Tapes Podcast, Scooby Doo, Midnight, Texas, and a tad bit of the X-Files later on.

"No more mutants." Those are the words that decimated the mutant population across the globe. Spoken by a crazed Scarlet Witch, 90% of the mutant population was stripped of their powers, only 198 mutants retained their powers, and the next step in human evolution seemingly died... until now. Enter Sang Summers, physically and mentally abused, underdeveloped, petrified teenager... and the long lost daughter of two of the most powerful mutants known: Scott Summers and Jean Grey, current leader of Utopia and dead host of the Phoenix Force. Sang is the first mutant to develop powers in four years, the Messiah the remaining mutant race had long awaited to save them from the brink of extinction. And their hypothesis seems to be proven true, as nine lights appear on Cerebra, nine new mutants that Sang will have to save from themselves... nine new mutants that can hopefully save Sang Summers. This is Generation Grey. These are the New Elites. And they have a Messiah Complex.

Numb3r 10 is a crossover between C. L. Stone's Ghost Bird series and the TV show Numb3rs. Dr. Sang Sorenson is a math genius-she's made a name for herself as one of the top mathematicians in the country. The Blackbourne team has moved on from the Academy and transferred their skills to working at the FBI. They're about to learn that sometimes, math is exactly what they need to solve a difficult case. This story is going to be written in a TV show format with several chapters comprising one "episode". I'm going to upload one "episode" at a time, which means that updates will take longer but each one will be an entire case. This is a fanfiction of C. L. Stone's Ghost Bird series and the TV show Numb3rs. No profit is being made from this fanfiction.
