After a devastating disease wipes out most of humanity, 16-year-old Cameron MacRiada must survive alone when he misses his scheduled evacuation. ***** "0800 hours. It's been four days since I stopped going to school. Seven since the last teacher stopped showing up though, so I reckon there's not much point any more. My dad was raging - he thinks that teachers have a duty to their students or something. I did point out that their contracts probably didn't include an apocalypse clause, but here we are." After they move into a new town, Oliver meets Jacob a boy who's life couldn't be better. Jacob was one of the popular students at school and had everything anyone ever wanted a loving family, friends, and money. Oliver feels that he gets the hots for Jacob and tries to suppress his feelings. When Jacob starts flirting with Oliver, he suspects that Jacob is just trying to hurt him, but what if Jacob simply is just Interested in Oliver? ************ I'm sorry I suck at descriptions just read the story. He is stuck being the boring, straight, white male. Mateo is a bisexual, biracial troublemaker and everything that a girl wants.
