Eren was the eldest boy at the orphanage, mostly sticking to himself his whole life and just spending his time doing school work, looking after small children, and getting bullied. He couldn't remember the last time he felt much happiness, and he dealt with the pain with almost daily cutting. As life went on he felt closer and closer to just ending it.. but then he meets Levi. Levi, the star pupil, academically, comes to his aid and starts to protect him. He's a bit forward, but Eren likes him, and Levi likes him back. Things lead to one another and slowly Eren is realising more about his past and Levi won't stop asking questions. Will Eren tell him what he knows or will he end it before Levi can find out? What happens when he realises his life is a lie?

After Eren's death, Levi gave up on life. But one day he bumps into a familiar looking person. After the boy's mother is caught up in an accident, Levi takes the boy home and becomes his foster-father, and the young boy is secretly hoping Levi would remember. That in his past life... They were lovers. (Sequel to Fire and Ice, if you haven't read it then I suggest you read that first.)

Since I can't write a description to save my life here is the first paragraph: Eren had just graduated with an art major and was living in his own apartment. Shiganshina was a decent sized city, with enough inspiration for the young artist. Most of the people he knew lived there so to him it was perfect. His art sold pretty well online and he had a part time job at a local pottery shop. Life had pretty much calmed done as he adjusted to a new kind of normal.
