|| Highest Ranks: #7 Short Story, #130 Fiction, #1 Journal || Hunter Ryan finds something when hiding in the old Janitor's closet at school. Something that doesn't belong to him, and something he most definitely shouldn't touch, because that would be a complete invasion of privacy. "So why not find out? What harm could it possibly do?" ☆☆☆ By the way, just clarifying right now that this is FICTIONAL, not my diary, it's a story about a boy who finds a girl's diary [Cover credit to @weightingold!] Also, we won People's Choice in the 2016 Watty Awards, thank you so much! ❤

Charles F. King-an Astronaut stationed on the moon-expresses his thoughts and regrets through Log Entries as he finds out the Earth will end in the weeks to come. This is a Science Fiction short story that had to be written under 4,000 words for a contest. This story ended up reaching exactly that, but also becoming my best piece of writing yet.

(Sequel to Watty Award Winner "Dear Sydney") College isn't for everyone. Sometimes school is meant to end after the twelveth grade. So when Sydney Porter decided to leave James Madison University after her sophomore year, her boyfriend of two years did what any good boyfriend would do: he encouraged her to follow her dreams. So Sydney followed her dreams of becoming a concert violinist...all the way to New York City. 350 miles is less than 3,000, but it's still a ways away. And what better to do during long-distance relationships...than write letters? Yet success in a career sometimes means leaving behind people who used to mean the world to you...and sometimes letters become addressed to whoever will receive them, instead of to the person they'd been written to for years. Because, as much as we don't want them to... Every letter has to end. **And naturally, it's written in Dear Sydney's signature style...so don't worry.** First official chapter published: April 24th, 2017 Highest Rank: #77 in Teen Fiction on 9/7/17 Cover by @Queen_InTheWild

I was in Biology 101 when the sirens went off. We were herded in single file to the buses that escorted us to the loading docks twenty miles away. Once there, I got dislocated from my group and watched as they boarded the space pod I was meant to be on. Several minutes later, airborne and on their way to space, the white pod exploded into a ball of flame and ash. Lost in the whims of guilt and relief, I joined another group on a separate pod. Ten minutes later, I looked down upon the Blue Planet for what could very well be the last time. It was not sorrow that I felt for her, but fear. De-ac-ti-vated tells the story of how Earth perished and its inhabitants were forced to flee into the black unknown of space. But leaving Earth was only the beginning. No one could have fathomed what the deep black of the cosmos held for them. Highest Ranking: #62 Sci-fi (02/11/2017) I want to thank @kario12 for a great cover design. Your skill is breathtaking and I love working with you. I would also like to thank Tobias Roetsch for the lovely artwork we were allowed to use. Your talent is superb!!! **Winner of the 2016 Watty Awards in Visual Storytelling, and officially a Wattpad Featured Novel!** Two juniors in high school, each fresh out of a breakup, thousands of miles away from each other. Connor Hall and Sydney Porter didn't expect anything to happen when they were assigned to be each other's pen pals at their respective schools, yet feelings can emerge from anything, even simple letters. Written completely in notes, texts, and social media posts, Dear Sydney is a modern take on the conventional love story, proving that you don't have to be close in miles to be close in your hearts. One of the winners of the Once Upon Now contest! Feet Aren't Made for Walking will be renamed Truth Be Told and will be published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster, on October 11, 2016 in the Once Upon Now Anthology! ---------------------------- Leo Clark is having a really bad day. He's been transported into a topsy-turvy alternate universe (not a good thing when your mom's expecting you home for dinner), he's recently acquired wooden extremities and is physically incapable of telling a lie (an even worse thing when you pride yourself on not sharing your emotions), and his little sister has been kidnapped, mistaken for the lost princess of the Land of Pittsborough (the worst thing of all because...please refer back to the part about Mom making dinner). In order to save his sister and find a way home, Leo will have to confront an evil queen who lives in an office cubicle, a few mice with horrible fashion sense, and a girl with green skin and webbed toes (but hey, at least she's kind of cute). And he'll have to do it all before the clock strikes midnight or risk being trapped in Pittsborough forever. Now if only he could figure out how to walk on his wooden feet... --------------------------- This short story is a modern day fairytale mashup, partially inspired by Pinocchio, The Frog Prince, and many others. Enjoy!

After discovering two aliens trying to milk a cow in his Grandfather's barn, fourteen year old Luke Summers is abducted. Scared out of his wits, he soon discovers that the aliens, Simon and Leonidas, aren't planning to probe him... huge relief. Instead, after injecting Luke with nano-translators so he can understand them, they tell him that his parents, both astronauts who were pronounced dead during a failed mission to Mars, are still alive... and they need his help to rescue them from an evil spider-alien dictator named Drac Moor. There's just one itsy bitsy catch. Luke will first need to be "reconditioned" so that he can withstand the harsh alien atmospheres that he'll be subjected to. Oh... and it's probably going to hurt a little. Follow along as Luke stumbles through one disaster after another, in an attempt to pull off a daring prison break and free his parents before it's too late.
