Carl was standing next to Enid, holding onto her hand. Enid gave his hand a gentle squeeze before muttering, "What if we don't win? What if we all die trying?" The one eyed boy looked over at her before giving her a kiss, which lasted about seven seconds, and slowly pulled away, but their faces were only inches apart. "We'll win this... I promise." He said as he brushed a lock of Enid's hair away and tucked it behind her ear. The war with Negan has begun, and it's up to Rick's group, along with The Hilltop, to defeat Negan and win the war... But is it possible to win?

Having survived his bite, Carl is determined to get the others to see the future he see's, but even after a stranger delivers a gift that may help the future Carl see's to become a reality, it may take a tragic event to show his friends and family what the cost of war really is.

Normally a person isn't grateful when they get shot. Carl Grimes certainly wasn't at least not until he is bit by a walker. Soon he learns that a hunting accident and some long forgotten scares may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
