Stevie and Lindsey are finally getting everything they dreamed of. Set in early 80s-ish. Timelines and facts may be fudged a bit, but I chose with whatever I thought went best!!

Stevie is a "single" mother raising her two kids alongside her mother. When the father (Lindsey) returns, he'll stop at nothing to make things right with everybody while he wiggles through his own personal struggles. (A/U: '90s). A/N: I always picture them as The Dance or Say You Will, but am always altering their ages. I'd say about mid to late thirties in this story.

Stevie really wants to become a mother so she does everything in her power to make it happen.

This whole story is basically a what could have been, inspired by Stevie's landslide dedication in Nashville "We could’ve very well ended up here, living here, with fifteen children. And grandchildren. And been like these two little rock ’n’ roll people and ended up being country people. So I want to dedicate this song to Lindsey because without him, this song could never have been played because I could only play it once, and he took it and made it into the song that it is today. So thank you, Lindsey, for that."
