A short story in the Deadland Saga (Tyler Masden's story during the early chapters of 100 Days in Deadland.) As the world succumbs to insatiable zombies, the remnants of the U.S. military forces switch gears from stopping the spread of infection to eradicating infected zones. 'I looked out the small window over the sink and saw a creeper dragging it's foot along the grass. I grabbed a long pipe in the corner and walked outside. When it saw me, it tried to come at me faster but was still walking at the same speed it was before, it's mouth biting the air. I walked closer so we were three feet apart. I poked the creeper in the shoulder with the pipe. "That bother you? Well you bother me." I forced the pipe into its eye. It fell to the ground by my feet.' Rumors have been flying ever since a group of scientist in the Feet City who were capable on the unsuccessful attempt of the nuclear experimentation. Due to the corrupted experiment, unexpectedly it leads to a nuclear breakage which causes the ejection of harmful chemicals and results to genetic mutation. Somehow, the genetic mutation generated the abnormal DNA disorder of human beings and caused them to become a flesh eating people. But the thing is that people didn't believe and just ignored the whole conspiracy. They continued their works, daily routine and basis. And there goes a class of Grade 10 Gethsemane students went to school, not expecting a big nuclear explosion that ejected a nuclear smoke and covered the entire campus. After inhaling the smoke, they've lost their consciousness for about two weeks and woke up founding out that their fellow schoolmates were gone. The class of Grade 10 Gethsemane were the only people in the whole campus left alive which confused them so much. Eventually, they believe and concluded that apocalypse is really happening. So they stick together to plan something out from the most feared zombie apocalypse. Society is crumbling. Zombie apocalypse is happening.
