It used to be just Merle and Daryl until 6 years ago. After a drunk one night stand leads to Daryl having a pregnant women on his hands and eventually a baby girl named Megan. Now 5 years on and the apocalypse starting how will Merle and Daryl cope looking after a little girl whilst avoiding walkers but also other survivors. Will start at meeting the group in Season 1 Now at Season 4

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.

Daryl's always done alright on his own. Sure he's had his brother sometimes, but really he's fine by himself. Until the world ends and he finds himself with this group of people who may actually care about him. Among these people is Carol Peletier and her daughter. For some reason, Daryl finds himself wanting to be with them and he has no idea why.

Daryl and Carol get separated from their loves, Dana and Edd. While they try and find them they realize some things about love and life.
