Ayumi Ever Forrest was not quite typical, but not quite odd, either... on the surface. Ayumi was a night owl with a secret, and a passion for anime. With her abusive father, the only escapes for her were books, anime, and swimming... not that she could do that often. After her mother died, her father had turned to drinking, turning Ayumi's life into her own personal hell. Alongside that, she was a night owl who had to go to school during the day, and all she wanted was the misery to end. One day, after having had enough, she hurls herself out the window, not caring the drop could severely harm her at best, kill her at worst, when her life is changed. But the person she had mistaken for an angel was, in fact, a vampire. One by the name Kanato Sakamaki. (Told y'all I suck at descriptions, but boom. Here. Take it.
