He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.

Dan's the new kid in school, expelled from his last for threatening a teacher. Dan's family hoping this will be a new start, don't know their son's biggest secret. Will Dan have the confidence to tell his father about the way he feels? Or will he continue to be the rebellious teenager he is? Phil is completely the opposite from Dan, never gets in trouble, quiet and doesn't have any friends. Trying to double depression and his grades, how will he deal with a new kid in his class? Will all his secrets be revealed? And will the bullying stop? Dan crosses Phil on his first day, and things don't start in the best way. Phil doesn't need help, but Dan is adamant he helps the boy through his years at college. What will happen when things turn upside-down for the both of them? But when Dan's friend, PJ, tells him that the Highers want him back, and are willing to accept Phil, Dan is honestly quite happy to be going back. After the tension and stress of Phil changing, Dan's just glad to be going back to normal. But he can't help but notice that Phil's a bit.....different.

Prussia, the 'Awesome' country, walks high and mighty, but of course that is only how he appears on the outside. Even though he is strong the feelings of a void and loneliness bother him. He craves to have a true friend that can handle his obnoxious and arrogant behaviour. He encounters another country named 'Canada' on the way out from a World Meeting and finds that they have quite a bit in common with each other. They both make a deal that if Canada can help Prussia be more kind and less arrogant so that he can make more friends then he must help Canada become more noticed by the other countries. At first, Prussia wasn't too sure until he saw Austria and Hungary close together, that was when he snapped and agreed to Canada's terms. Can Canada assist Prussia with making new friends and help him become closer to Hungary and the others? Will their deal be sealed? The thing Prussia wants to accomplish most of all... Is that he is trying to prove to himself, as well as others, that he isn't an idiot. Though, despite all of this, trouble is brewing and it is something that not even England and all his black magic could have predicted.
