This is set in 2015. I wrote this before The Dark Artifices/The Last Hours/Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy came out, sorry if something is different if you're reading this after they are published. He arrives mysteriously in New York where he is found by the New York Institute Shadowhunters. Except he's been dead for 78 years. (My bios are really bad. Just try the story.) Tessa and Will have been together for a year and are married, Jem was a Silent Brother and Tessa is going to have a baby. What is an issue is that, Tessa being half warlock and half nephilim, they don't know what will happen to the child when it comes. On top of this the downworlders are being treated like scrap and the nephilum are considering that Tessa should not be trusted. Will is on edge because of this. Will Tessa be thrown out of the London Institute because of her blood or will Will step in with Consul Charlotte Branwell and stand up for Tessa's right to live in the Institute with them?
