I watched him quietly. He was the man I was most fascinated with. The man I left my house for. And he had no idea I existed.

Defeat Morgwyn was born into the last years of human life on Earth. On her fifth birthday, her parents, along with half the world's population, left Earth for Orbis - a planet in a distant solar system - handing her over to a huge government-run orphanage. By the time she was ten, the orphanage and a group known as the Correctors - the members of the world's government and military who were tasked with repairing the earth - were the only humans left on Earth. At the age of eighteen, Defeat is given a choice: get on the next ship to Orbis, or become the newest recruit of the Correctors. Unwilling to leave her one and only home, she chooses to stay, and is thrust into a military style world where school is about survival skills, self-defence, and what needs to be done to repair the Earth. But Defeat soon starts to realise that there's more to the Correctors than they're letting on, and when disaster strikes, she's faced with an impossible decision: abandon the people she's been trained to help, or embark on a terrifying mission to save them. This is currently done unless i decide to do more in the future, it's kinda boring for me now and i just don't have a drive for horror like the scrub 13 year old i once was. so enjoy this.
