[On Hiatus for now] This Ghost Hunt fanfic takes place after Naru leaves. Much like the anime (and manga) this story will take place around several separate cases. Unlike the anime, it will also operate around between the cases as well. Plus there is one nightmare that is constantly plaguing Mai. If you have not read the manga or fanfics that take place after the manga there will sure to be spoilers. In fact don't even continue reading this synopsis if you don't want to come across spoilers. Naru took his brother and left to go back to England 4 years ago. The prophetic dreams he was having about his brother dying were inaccurate. He misinterpreted them to a certain extent. His brother had not died but been in a coma. Mai has been putting together the pieces that just fell apart when they left. She loved him but she had to get on with her life. So to keep the rest of the team together she decides to put together a new one. She has a added a few new employees and is running a successful business all on her own. But if that's the case then why is Naru back? Mai and Naru belong to each other and I just couldn't rationalize them not being together hence this story. Disclaimer: The characters from Ghost Hunt belong to Fuyumi Ono I do not own them. I only wrote the new supporting original characters (Atsuko, Daichi, and Katsuo just to name a few). But let's take a moment to be thankful to Fuyumi Ono for creating such an inspiring story that tickled my muse enough to inspire me. :)

However, not long after, another job approaches. Many treasures lay in store for Mai, Naru, and the others in the SPR crew. As new cases arise and, perhaps, a few hardships as well, Mai's newfound abilities are put to the test and Naru's emotions are under strain. Each fight their own battles. What will happen in the near or far future? Can Mai and Naru defeat their inner demons while trying to exorcise the ones that attack others? Well, I guess you'll see. I do not own the cover picture, the anime, or any pictures and videos attached to this story. I only own the cases and new characters introduced into my fan-fiction. Amazing cover was created by doleful! Continuation of anime, however, I suggest reading the manga. It's worth it! Haven't updated this in 3 years so I'm probs not gonna update anymore. Mai walking into Naru's office. Gene stood there at his door not knowing what to say, after a moment he put his hand on his chest 'why do I suddenly feel like something is going to go horribly wrong? I haven't felt like this since i...' Gene's eyes widened as he stopped his thoughts. "No..." he whispered looking up with tears in his eyes at Naru and Mai.

Mai and Naru deserve more character development- and so much more romance >:) × It's been 5 years since Naru left for England, and now he's coming back to what he left behind. The reason? Undefined. Although it may have had something to do with hopes of once again infuriating a certain snarky brunette... Meanwhile, Mai is doing her best in college and setting her priorities straight, all while managing to control her ever-present psychic abilities. Will all the former irregulars of SPR reunite and form what once was the most iconic supernatural team of all Japan? And can our brown-haired cutie manage to get back on her feet and chase after the one who got away, or is he the one chasing after her this time? × Disclaimer: Ghost Hunt belongs to the creators, not meee. One day Mai never turns up at SPR and Naru finds out it's because she is in a coma in hospital after being attacked. It's up to Naru to solve the case and to resolve his feelings for her before she slips away. NaruxMai

" Mai Taniyama decides to move to Las Vegas, America to start a new life, considering she could barely remember anything about her old one. After getting help from her (rich) and friendly aunt who lives nearby, she's landed an expensive house and job. Only a day or two into her fresh start, she meets a guy named Gene Shibuya and begins to wonder if he took a part in her forgotten past... Oliver Davis (Naru) and Lin leave to England. One question from Oliver makes Mai Taniyama want to leave the world. But, she stays strong and decides to move and start anew. She decides to not tell anyone. Her destination: America. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After two years, Oliver Davis and Lin returns to Japan. They re-open Shibuya Psychic Research, or SPR for short. When they enter SPR everyone is there but one. Oliver notices this and asks, "Where is Miss Mai Taniyama?" ---------------------------------- I don't own Ghost Hunt.

(Basically a self-insert story) Well. This is not how I pictured my morning. Meet me - Bex - and how I suddenly find myself in someone else's body, an ANIME characters' body might I add, and thrusted into a rather unexpected journey. And I have no clue what to do. P.S. Naru is just as doable in 3D. Yum. (This story is also on fanfic.net if you prefer that layout. Also, bear with the horrid writing and short chapters at the start. It gets better. Marginally.)
