When Mrs. Petunia Wilson left her hometown to give her newly-wedded husband's aunt a thank you gift, she encounters difficulties with her departure. Her husband proceeds to send letters containing information that might scar her and her future. She finds hidden secrets that lie within the crevices of the Aunt's manor.
