Hermione thinks he is just holding her hostage to use against Harry but there is more to Snape then meets the eye. The ministry picks names out of the well and they are paired as a couple. What happens if Hermione Granger and Severus Snape are paired up? The second wizarding war is finally over. Voldemort is defeated and his death eaters either dead or sentenced to life in Azkaban. Despite the many deaths the order of the phoenix has to mourn, a bit of normality returns to the lives of those who survived. Hogwarts has been rebuilt and now Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny are riding the train back there on September 1st, 1998. Will their last year finally be a peaceful one? When Severus comes across the Grangers new situation, he jumps to aid them - wanting nothing to befall his saviors' parent's lives. Hermione Granger despises Severus Snape. Then again, who doesn't? There's only one problem though. Hermione actually starts having feelings for him.
